Sarah Warren

Back To Artists

After studying fine art and printmaking, at Bristol's UWE Sarah remained in the city, developing her distinctive three dimensional style, she became and remains still, fascinated with the process of layering, perhaps a reflection of the cities own unique styling. She has received several commissions, ranging from Café del Mar album sleeves, to Royal Mail poster designs, she has also worked on projects such as the Wallace and Gromit feature film, the Brit Awards and for the Bristol Old Vic. Her Collages have been exhibited in America, London and extensively in the South West and purchased by oil sheiks and pop stars.

It was a natural progression for her to find a friend in Photoshop, where her techniques could be taken to their next logical level. There is an ironic honesty to Sarah’s work, despite her images being a concoction of the self-created, the lost and the stolen. They appear on first sight to be light frivolous and yet on further inspection they grow darker and more uncertain.
