Back To Artists

"One thing I have discovered about Robert is that he often doesn't make a lick of sense, until I'm as drunk as he is."
Brian Sewell

A renaissance man, issued with a sharp tongue, a good eye and a mind bent slightly out of shape, courtesy of Evo-Stick.

The shadow he has cast over the music industry with his band Massive Attack has also helped to eclipse the fact, that first and foremost Robert is an artist, and one who understands the value of colour better than most.

Rothko reds, drip full of vaginal vigour, from his recent work, creating nefarious landscapes and foetus's born in death. Despite the dark subject mater, his works remain vibrant and healthily non-cooperative.

The work he produced for the 2007 Santa's Ghetto exhibition in Bethlehem was in my humble opinion, not bad.
